Abstract

The purpose of this work is to promote healthy practices regarding the use of cell phones in the classroom so that students learn to incorporate this device as a tool that promotes self-regulated learning. To achieve this objective, different informative, playful and reflective activities related to the theme are diagrammed. To evaluate the results of the plan, it was decided to apply two pre- and post-intervention tests: one ad hoc "The cellular device as a learning tool" and the other called "Self-efficacy Inventory for Study". It is expected that after carrying out the plan, students will be able to notice the positive impact of cell phone use on their academic performance and an increase in their perception of self-efficacy regarding the performance of their tasks. In this way, it is concluded that cell phones are part of the new ways of learning and teaching in the educational field. For this reason, it is considered that it is no longer possible to deny their presence in the classroom since more and more students choose to learn through their cell phones.
